Who writes this

Embargo Timer is a small independent project by Raoul van Wijk, built under Wrong Floor. Guides are written from professional PR experience and publicly available sources. It is not a large editorial operation.

Sources and examples

  • Timezone conversions use the IANA tz database.
  • Examples in guides are illustrative. Always check the final date, time and timezone against the converter before sending anything important.
  • Where possible, timezone examples are generated from the same conversion code that powers the tool, so the numbers match.

How the content is reviewed

  • Content is reviewed when PR practices, laws or technical standards change, and when a reader flags a mistake.
  • AI may be used to support editing or research. Anything published on the site is reviewed by a person before it goes live.

Independence

The tool is free. Non-intrusive ads may appear on some pages to cover hosting. No paid placement, sponsorship or affiliate relationship influences the recommendations in any guide.

A Wrong Floor project

Built from real PR work

Hi, I'm Raoul. I spent more than 15 years working on PR campaigns and international launches. At Wrong Floor, I build simple digital tools for work that takes longer than it should. Embargo Timer is one of them.

Got a PR task that still takes too much time, or an idea for a tool that should exist? Send it my way.
