1. Use of the tool
Embargo Timer is a free web tool that converts a single moment in time across multiple timezones. You may use the tool for personal and commercial purposes, including generating and pasting embargo blocks into your own emails, press releases, and internal docs.
2. Output is yours
Any embargo block, converted timestamp, or template output you personally generate and paste elsewhere is yours to use freely, with no attribution required.
3. Content license
The written content on this site (FAQ answers, article copy, landing page prose, and design) is © Embargo Timer, all rights reserved. You may quote short excerpts with a visible link back to the source page. You may not:
- Republish full pages or FAQ sections on another domain.
- Rehost this site under a different name or branding.
- Copy the templates into another site and present them as your own guide.
- Scrape the site programmatically at a rate that would burden our infrastructure.
4. No warranty
Timezone conversions use standard IANA data and are accurate to the best of our knowledge, but Embargo Timer is provided "as-is". Always double check the embargo time in your final email. DST transitions, government-mandated timezone changes, and typos happen.
5. Contact
